PU Foam AkFix
PU Foam Akfix is a single-component, moisture-curing and self-expanding aerosol polyurethane foam. Designed for easy dispensing through the straw adapter included with each can. It does not contain any propellant gases that are harmful to the ozone layer.
Properties of Akfix PU Foam
- Excellent adhesion & filling capacity and high thermal & acoustical insulation value.
- Excellent mounting capacity and stability.
- Adheres to almost all building materials with the exception of surfaces such as polyethene, Teflon, silicone and surfaces contaminated with oils and greases, mould release agents and similar materials.
- Mould-proof, water-proof, over paintable.
- The cured foam dries rigid and can be trimmed, shaped and sanded.

Foams with Straw: It may be called a type of most frequent and best seller foam in the market. Used with the straw apparatus supplied with each canister. Akfix Maximum PU Foam 805coded products are preferred for the foam applications with straw.
Foams with Pistoles (Professional): It is used with a special application gun. Akfix foams with guns having codes of 805P offer an effective solution for filling small voids.
